The Corner Cafe has been undergoing a Visioning Process.
We are currently running an Interim Cafe with reduced hours and food options.

Hot and cold drinks, sweets, and light lunches available
This Interim Cafe is staffed by volunteers.
The Cafe is a perfect location for lunch, morning and afternoon tea
and offers free Wi-Fi when making a purchase.
There is access to a play room and play ground for children. There is also a carpeted area perfect for babies, and it is a popular spot for Parent Groups.
The Cafe has magazines, colouring sheets, and knitting available for customers.

The Uniting Church in South Australia is committed to being a Fair Trade church,
therefore The Corner Cafe only serves Fair Trade coffee and hot chocolate.

Our shop contains a variety of good condition pre-loved articles including clothes, shoes, toys, books, linen and kitchenware and much more…
Our aim is to serve the community and therefore we are staffed by volunteers and our prices are affordable.
Donations of good clean items can be brought into the shop during open hours.
The Corner is perfect for meetings and celebrations of all shapes and sizes, with a number of community groups currently using our facilities.
We have a variety of spaces available for hire including small meeting rooms, larger meeting rooms, an auditorium including stage and AV equipment, and a cafe area, all reasonably priced.
Our Cafe offers a variety of catering options for your meeting or function.
Please note all hirers must have their own Public Liability Insurance, which can often be obtained through your Household Insurance.

The Corner U.C. are in need of extra volunteers in a number of areas:
Café – Baristas (coffee makers), front of house (serving), dishwashers, kitchen hands, and cooks.
Op Shop – serving, sorting, and stacking.
Art Exhibitions – Help organize annual program, assist during exhibitions.
Gardening – pruning, weeding, planting, and tidying.
Room Set Up & Pack Up – assistance with moving furniture before and after worship, programs, and functions
Help can be once per week, fortnight, or month.
Please note all volunteers must complete a (free) Uniting Church Police Clearance.

Kangatraining is the ultimate postnatal workout for mums and bubs. Unlike any other traditional exercise class- your baby is part of the workout, eliminating the need to find child care. Kangatraining is a complete workout where both cardiovascular endurance/flexibility and muscular capacity/strength are enhanced. Special attention is also given to the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and correct posture. At Kangatraining we focus on strengthening and rebuilding the parts of our body that were weakened and stretched during pregnancy and childbirth. Kangatrainers are certified and trained by physiotherapists, midwives and babywearing consultants to ensure the safety and comfort of both mum and baby

Wesley Netball Club
Wesley Netball Club participates in the SAUCNA (S.A. United Church Netball Association) Winter Netball Competition. Teams include Under 8’s, U9’s, U11’s, U13’s, U15’s, U17’s & Open grade (age at 31/12/13).
Matches are played on Saturday afternoons either at Wesley home courts (Hazelmere Reserve, Glengowrie), at Association courts on West Terrace (senior teams) or at other Clubs’ home courts around Adelaide.
The Winter Netball Season usually runs from April until August and registration for each season usually closes in early February.
